Cara L. Hunter

Cara received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Florida State Univeristy and her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law.  


During her time at Barry, Cara participated in the Student Bar Association and in the volunteer income tax assistance program, commonly known as VITA.  Cara also worked and interned for law firms that focused on the areas of family law, estate litigation, and criminal defense.


After graduating from law school, Cara worked for a small law firm in the Orlando area bringing claims for those who were injured in auto accidents or by the negligence of others.


In 2012 Cara and her family relocated to Sarasota, from where she is originally from. Upon returning to Sarasota, Cara worked for a national continuing legal education company.     


In her free time, Cara enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, Harper, Sawyer and Renner.
